Graduation

Senior Blessing: Multi-Denominational Blessing of the Flagler County Senior Classes of 20202 (combined FPC/MHS) At Santa Maria Del Mar Catholic Church, north 9th Street in Flagler Beach. Service at 7pm, desserts to follow. Seniors please wear Cap and Gown.

 

Graduation date: Class of 2020 graduation date is TBA. 
Graduation practice is mandatory. It is typically the day before graduation, but could be as many as 2 or 3 days before. This information will be updated as soon as it becomes available.

What to Wear with your Cap/Gown: Graduates are not allowed to decorate caps. Please refrain from putting anything on top of your caps. Honor cords, stoles, medallions, or school related awards are only to be worn on top of your gown.

Males: There are no color restrictions. Please wear clean and appropriate dress shoes and dress pants. Dress Shirts should be button up with a collar and tie. If you do not own a tie we will be happy to provide you one.

Females: There are no color restrictions. Please dress appropriately. You are allowed to wear a dress, skirt or slacks with a blouse, pant suit etc with clean shoes. Heels are not required.



 

The 2020 Ticketing Process: The Ocean Center requires everyone who needs a seat to have a ticket. Please understand that tickets are limited. Graduates do not need a ticket.

Graduation Location: It will take you at least an hour to drive to the Ocean Center from Palm Coast due to traffic. Please plan to arrive early. Graduates report to the expo hall on the west side of the building, spectators go to the arena.

Bags: 
Seniors, you are not allowed to carry anything under or over your gown. Please refrain from bringing anything. Every ticket holder, including children, may carry an approved clear bag or a clutch purse. One clear bag no larger than 12”x6”x12” or a one-gallon clear “Ziploc”-style bag. One small clutch bag or purse no larger than 6.5”x6.5”, with or without a strap. Diapers and wipes may be carried in a clear bag; however, diaper bags are not permitted.

Additional clothing, blankets, etc. are allowed, as long as they are carried loosely; Preferably over the shoulder so they can get through screening faster or in an approved clear bag. Small cameras, binoculars, and cell phones may be carried loosely or in an approved clear bag


Ocean Center Security Measures in place for both Flagler County Graduations.

There will be security checks before ticket holders are allowed entry into the ceremony.
