Medallion of Excellence Award

To be eligible for a 2019-2020 Medallion of Excellence Award, student should be a high-achieving, community-minded, Volusia or Flagler County high school senior in a public or private school with 25 or more students in the 2020 graduating class. All applicants must be approved by their Principal and/or Guidance Counselor. 


 Please submit the information below to Elke Sterzer in Guidance by January 10th:

  • Short Essay - Outside of your academic achievements, what do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? (Limit statement to 500 words)
  • Have you ever applied for the Senior of the Month? (yes or no is sufficient)


FPCHS Principal and/or Guidance will select the top 16 students to apply via the Medallion of Excellence link. The top 16 will be notified by guidance and will be provided with the link to the official application. Applicants will be invited to attend the 2020 Banquet and notified the week of February 25, 2020. News Journal timeline: We are providing the News Journals timeline for your reference, but please remember the FPCHS deadline to submit a hard copy is Friday, January 10th in order for the applications to be approved by FPC administration/guidance.
