Principal Dusty Sims accepts position as Regional Executive Director of School Improvement

Bulldog Families,

I speak daily of the opportunities Flagler Palm Coast High School offers and the leadership in its students and staff it develops. I too, am a product of the opportunities as well as the leadership development. Because of the opportunities to grow and learn over the past 15 years, I have been offered the opportunity to take a position with the Florida Department of Education and will be working as a Regional Executive Director of School Improvement for the northeast region of Florida. I will be stepping down as the Principal of Flagler Palm Coast High School on August 17th. There are very few positions that could pull me away from FPC, but during my time here I have found a passion to see schools grow and therefore provide a better education for every student. In my new position I will be able to extend even more opportunities to students across the state.

I would like thank the administrators and staff with Flagler Schools, as well as our FPC students, faculty and staff for all you have done to support and grow me as an educator and leader. I wish you nothing but success! I leave you with this: Once a Bulldog, Always a Bulldog.

God Bless,

Dustin Sims
