FPC Security Threat: November 16th Message

Thursday, November 16, 2017 - 6:10pm

Administrators here at Flagler Palm Coast High School have discovered graffiti written in one of our restrooms threatening the safety on our campus. We immediately notified the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. We are currently working with them to determine who has made the threat.

I want you to know you’ll see a greater, visible presence by the FCSO on the FPC campus tomorrow. Student safety is our primary concern and we are taking all the steps necessary to ensure that safety is not compromised.

Additionally, threats made to fellow students, faculty, or staff are not acceptable.

I encourage you to talk with your child about the seriousness of threats and the importance of reporting suspicious activities, threats, or disturbing information to a trusted adult.  Students also need to realize our law enforcement agencies take these threats very seriously and are pursuing prosecution even when such incidents are intended as pranks.

If you have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to me or my administrative team.
