Senior Beach Party --- For the past two years the parents of the Senior Class have hosted a Senior Beach Party the Friday afternoon before graduation. If you would like to continue this tradition for the class of 2014, please contact Cheryl Perry at firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer. In order to make the event happen there needs to be fundraising to pay the security fees as well as supply food/drinks and items for door prizes.
The timeline BEGINS in September and all applications have to be in NO LATER than MID January, so start compiling some basic information about yourself, your plans and goals; think about what people you can ask for recommendation letters or references, ask your parents about family income, etc so you will have it when organizations start sending in their applications to us.
Once the process begins, Ms. Sterzer in guidance will post each new application on the bulletin board in the Guidance hall. You need to check it DAILY from then on. Mid January 2014 is our cut off for accepting these applications, but there may be earlier/ different due dates for individual scholarships- DO NOT PROCRASTINATE—as soon as you complete an app- TURN IT IN to Ms. Sterzer. It is your responsibility to make sure you have all of the requested information for each application.
Questions about the process or individual local scholarships can be directed to Ms. Sterzer in Guidance or to Ms. Couch room 2-226.
